DIGI TV will broadcast the Australian Open on Eurosport 4K at no extra cost

DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, has announced that it will offer DIGI TV customers coverage of the 2026 Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the season, at no extra cost.

DIGI TV customers will be able to watch the tournament live from the start of the first round, which kicks off at Melbourne Park on Sunday 18 January. It will be available on Eurosport 4K (Channel 10), one of the more than 120 channels available on DIGI TV, offering 4K quality.

Coverage will include broadcasts of the tournament’s key matches on Eurosport 4K. The remaining matches, as well as analysis, debates and other related content, will be available on the other Eurosport channels included in DIGI TV.

Main players in this edition

The Australian Open will bring together the world’s top players. In the men’s draw, Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz, the world number one, leads the line-up. He will be joined by players such as Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev, making for one of the most competitive draws in recent years.

In the women’s draw, two-time champion Aryna Sabalenka will once again start as one of the main favourites, alongside leading names such as Iga Świątek, Coco Gauff and reigning champion Madison Keys.

Other new additions to DIGI TV this year

In addition to this, DIGI has added two new channels to its TV service catalogue in January: EscapaTV, from Thursday 15, and Squirrel Dos, already on air since the 1st, bringing the total to more than 120 channels currently available.

Squirrel Dos (Channel 36) is mainly dedicated to films, broadcasting movies from a variety of genres throughout the day. Its schedule also includes fiction series during certain time slots.

EscapaTV (Channel 170) is a themed channel focused on travel, tourism and gastronomy, featuring programmes designed to explore destinations both within Spain and abroad.
