DIGI is a leading telecommunications networks and services operator, recognised for its high-speed internet access, and the third-largest broadband provider by number of customers in Spain.
Operating in the Spanish market since 2008, DIGI offers mobile telephony, internet, fixed-line, and pay TV services, at competitive prices accessible to everyone.
Our history
2008
DIGI begins operations in Spain as a prepaid mobile virtual network operator.
2011-2016
DIGI launches DIGI Naveg@, its first mobile internet product. In 2016, it introduces its postpaid mobile service, focused on the “value-for-money” segment.
2018
DIGI begins its own fibre-optic rollout in Madrid and becomes a convergent operator, offering Internet access and fixed and mobile telephone services.
2020
DIGI opens its first regional offices in Valencia, Zaragoza, Malaga, Sevilla, Murcia and Barcelona.
2021
DIGI launches PRO-DIGI, becoming the first operator to offer 10 Gbps fiber services to the residential segment in Spain, while leading mobile number portabilities throughout the entire year.
2023
DIGI opens its first own DIGI Stores in Valencia, Bilbao, Barcelona, Malaga and A Coruña.
2024
DIGI becomes the first operator in Spain to offer Wi-Fi 7 routers to fiber subscribers at no additional cost. The company also activates 5G mobile service, as well as VoLTE and VoWiFi calls, before closing out the year by launching DIGI TV.
2025
DIGI begins the rollout of its own mobile network.
