DIGI TV adds six BBC channels to its catalogue at no extra cost

DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, has announced the addition of six BBC Studios channels to its television service, DIGI TV, at no extra cost.

As of today, BBC Series, BBC Lifestyle, BBC History, BBC Food, BBC Earth and Top Gear are now available in Spanish as part of the DIGI TV channel lineup.

BBC Series [Channel 47] is dedicated to British drama series across a range of genres, produced by BBC Studios, many of them award-winning. BBC Lifestyle [Channel 78] offers content on lifestyle, health, food, home, travel and trends. BBC History [Channel 171] features documentaries exploring key moments in human history and civilisations from different eras, while BBC Food [Channel 76] brings together programmes focused on international cuisine.

Completing the lineup are BBC Earth [Channel 182], with programmes on nature, science and the environment, and Top Gear [Channel 154], dedicated to the world of motoring.

DIGI TV service

Since its launch at the end of 2024, DIGI TV has added the Sports Pack to its channel lineup, including all live LALIGA HYPERMOTION matches and Iberalia’s themed hunting and fishing channels, as well as a wide range of national and regional thematic channels such as DreamWorks, Eurosport 4K, LALIGA Inside, Primera RFEF and Vin TV, among others.

So far this year, the company has also added the channels Squirrel 2, Escapa TV, La 1 UHD, Juntos, TV Libertad, AMC Western and AMC Living.

Customers can watch all these channels via the set-top box included with the service, as well as on their mobile or tablet through the DIGI TV app, available on Google Play, the App Store and Huawei. They can also download the app from the app stores on Samsung, LG and Android TVs, and now also on Hisense devices compatible with the app, as well as on Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast and Apple TV, among other devices.

How to sign up for DIGI TV

Fibre customers can sign up for DIGI TV for €7 per month and add the Sports Pack for an additional €3 per month via Mi DIGI, by calling 1200 free of charge or at any of the company’s retail outlets.

Anyone not currently a customer can sign up for Fibre and DIGI TV via the website, at retail outlets or by calling 1200 free of charge from the DIGI network, or 919 120 120 from another operator. Sign up is also possible via WhatsApp.
