DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, recorded more than 1,028,500 landline and mobile porting transactions between January and August, representing growth of more than 16% compared to the same period last year.
The operator, which has now exceeded 100,000 monthly porting transactions for twelve consecutive months, accumulated more than 308,500 porting transactions across June, July and August, an increase of more than 27% compared to the summer of 2024.
In August alone, the company recorded more than 108,000 landline and mobile porting transactions. Of these lines, more than 92,500 were mobile porting transactions.
At the end of the first half of 2025, DIGI was trusted by more than 9.6 million customers in Spain, according to the latest results report published by the company. Specifically, more than 6.58 million customers used its mobile service, more than 2.26 million subscribed to its fibre service and more than 723,000 used its landline service as of the end of June. More than 90,000 customers were also already using DIGI TV, its television service with more than 100 channels, available nationwide.

DIGI, the fourth-largest landline and mobile telecommunications operator in Spain, continues to strengthen its commitment to customers by offering high-quality services at competitive prices, taking on board their feedback to implement improvements based on their actual needs.
DIGI now has more than 50 company-owned stores across Spain, all staffed by employees directly hired by the company, helping to foster close contact and direct interaction, as valued by its customers.
Investment and commitment to employment
DIGI invested €169 million in the first six months of the year to carry out its plan to roll out next-generation ultrafast fibre optic networks, as well as to deploy its own mobile network, which was launched on 1 July. The operator’s SMART fibre network now reaches more than 12.5 million households.
The operator, now the second-largest employer in the sector, carries out all its business activities in-house, offering job stability and supporting career development for all its employees. The company currently has more than 9,600 employees in Spain.
