DIGI registers over 910,700 number portabilities through June, 15% more than in the same period of 2025

DIGI Spain (DIGI), the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, has added more than 913,500 number transfers from January to June, representing an increase of more than 15% compared to the same period last year.

Regarding the quarterly figures, the operator added more than 418,600 ports in the second quarter of 2026, which represents a 7% growth compared to the accumulated figure from April to June of the previous year.

As for the month of June, DIGI added more than 134,500 lines ported, of which more than 114,700 correspond to mobile lines. DIGI also registered more than 19,700 fixed-line portings.

With these figures, the operator has now recorded 22 consecutive months (since September 2024) with over 100,000 line changes per month.

DIGI has more than 11.4 million active services in Spain, according to the company's latest earnings report published at the close of the first quarter of 2026. Specifically, more than 7.58 million customers had mobile phone service; more than 2.75 million enjoyed fibre optic service, making it the third largest fibre optic operator in the residential segment; more than 867,000 had fixed-line telephone service; and more than 217,000 had TV service.

Service Quality and Employee Employment

DIGI, the fourth largest fixed and mobile telecommunications operator in Spain, remains committed to offering its customers quality services at competitive prices, listening to their suggestions to implement service improvements, and taking into account their actual needs. In this regard, since May, the operator has included a Wi-Fi 7 router with new sign-ups for its 750 Mbps and 1 Gbps SMART Fibre services. This allows customers to enjoy improved wireless coverage, faster speeds, lower latency, and greater capacity to connect multiple devices simultaneously, stably, and efficiently to the network.

In total, the company invested €119 million in the first quarter of 2026, 35% more than the previous year, to implement its plan to deploy next-generation, ultra-fast fibre optic networks, as well as its own mobile network, which began in the second half of 2025. Currently, DIGI has a SMART Fibre network that reaches more than 14.2 million homes and has over 900 nodes in service.

The operator, which is already the second largest in terms of employees, carries out all business activities directly with its own staff, offers job security, and promotes career development plans for all its employees. DIGI currently has more than 11,700 employees in Spain.
