DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, recorded its best monthly result in history for porting in January, with more than 128,700 line transfers, representing a 10% increase compared to the same month in 2024.
The operator recorded more than 110,200 mobile portings in January, also its highest monthly figure on record in this category, with growth of more than 10% compared to the same period last year.
In terms of net porting, DIGI recorded more than 90,800 in the first month of the year, representing the second-best figure in its history for this metric.
The company is trusted by more than 7.9 million customers in Spain, according to the latest data published by the operator, corresponding to the third quarter of 2024.
Fourth-largest landline and mobile operator in Spain
DIGI consolidated its position at the end of 2024 as the fourth-largest fixed and mobile operator in Spain, according to data published by the Spanish Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC). During the year, it increased investment in its own fibre network, which now reaches 11 million households.
Its proprietary fibre network, deployed using state-of-the-art technology, was recognised in 2024, for the fourth consecutive year, as the “Fastest Fibre Network in Spain” at the prestigious Ookla® Speedtest Awards™.
The operator closed the year and has begun 2025 by strengthening its commitment to customers, continuing to offer its best possible proposition, including DIGI TV, its television service with more than 100 channels covering films, series, sports, documentaries, entertainment and more for €7 per month, allowing customers to enjoy a combined TV and fibre package for €17 per month.
