DIGI receives the AEERC CRECE 2025 award for the opening of its customer service centre in Seville

DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, has received the CRECE 2025 award from the Spanish Association of Experts in Customer Relations (AEERC) in the category of New Platforms and Centres in Spain, for the opening of its new customer service centre in Seville.

Specifically, this recognition highlights DIGI’s firm commitment to in-house employment to achieve excellence in its service, objectives that are aligned with the philosophy of the “CRECE” award.

“The spirit of the CRECE award is to recognise companies that, like DIGI, make a tangible commitment to the future of the customer relations sector. The opening of this centre in Seville is an example of sustained growth and social commitment, creating direct, high-quality employment in the Andalusian community. We believe that this investment in infrastructure and talent deserves to be recognised as a driver of continuous improvement,” said AEERC President José Francisco Rodríguez.

DIGI’s Director of Services, Alfonso Esteve, in accepting the award expressed his thanks to AEERC for the recognition “which acknowledges the effort we make every day to continue improving our customer experience through investment and in-house employment. Our centre in Seville allows us to be even closer to our customers, ensuring an excellent level of service and, with its opening, we also create value for the Andalusian community, to which we are fully committed.”

More than 130 new direct jobs

The customer service centre, located in the Kansas City Business Centre in Seville, was opened last March with the aim of enhancing the customer experience and managing relationships with users more efficiently. DIGI’s investment in this new centre has resulted in the creation of more than 130 new direct jobs in the Andalusian capital.

The new customer service centre covers 400 square metres and complements the existing one in Madrid. It is equipped with the latest technology and includes training rooms so that employees can continue developing and acquiring new professional skills, reinforcing DIGI’s model of stable, permanent employment.

The AEERC’s CRECE initiative highlights companies that invest in the growth of customer service activities, both nationally and internationally, and that continuously seek improvement not only for the end customer, but also for their teams and the sector as a whole.
