DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, and representatives of the largest trade unions at national level signed yesterday a preliminary agreement laying the foundations for the first unified framework governing working conditions and labour relations within the company.
The preliminary agreement includes, among other aspects, a single company-wide working schedule; 23 days of annual leave; a 2% annual salary review during the term of the agreement; company-funded private health insurance; life insurance; a loyalty bonus at 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of service and, above all, addresses the issues that were of greatest concern to employees.
On Tuesday, 22 July, the Negotiating Committee will meet again to continue finalising the outstanding points of the agreement in order to conclude the first unified collective bargaining agreement applicable to DIGI SPAIN TELECOM SLU and DIGI SALES FORCE SLU, which will have a term of four years.
Both the operator and the unions have welcomed the effort and dedication shown by all parties in reaching this preliminary agreement following months of intense negotiations.
