DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, has reached 10 company-owned stores in Catalonia following the recent opening of its store in the city of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat within Barcelona, where its fibre network now reaches more than 1.8 million households.
This DIGI Store, located at Carrer de les Roselles 1 and open from 10 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday and from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturdays, joins the nine already operated by the company in Catalonia.
DIGI has six DIGI Stores in the province of Barcelona: three in the city of Barcelona (Carrer de Sants 198; Carrer Gran de Sant Andreu 330; and Carrer Berlín 14); one in Sabadell (Carrer de Gràcia 24), one in Badalona (Carrer de la Pietat 10) and another in Terrassa (Carrer de la Font Vella 87).
It has also opened two in the province of Tarragona, located in Tarragona city (Avenida de Prat de la Riba 4) and in Reus (Carrer de Llovera 43). The city of Lleida also has a DIGI Store, located at Carrer Pi i Margall 16.
DIGI Spain’s Director of Retail Channels, Cassio Moreno says: “We are pleased to have reached 10 DIGI Stores in Catalonia, a region where we have significantly expanded the rollout of our fibre network across all four provinces over the past year. In addition, opening stores allows us to strengthen and foster closer relationships with our customers in Catalonia.”
These company-owned stores complement the operator’s other in-person customer service channels in Catalonia, including its retail points and DIGI stands located in major shopping centres. Customers can also find out more about the company’s products and services via the website or by calling 1200 free of charge from the DIGI network, or 921 120 120 from another operator.
Through all of these channels, customers can sign up for the fibre and mobile services offered by DIGI, such as SMART Fibre at 500 Mbps for €10 per month. Fibre customers can also subscribe to the DIGI TV television service for €7 per month, offering more than 100 channels and the 10 best matches of each Primera Federación matchday live.
They can also add the Sports Pack for €3 more per month, which includes all LALIGA HYPERMOTION matches live as well as themed hunting and fishing channels. Customers can also receive advice on which plan best suits their needs and get answers to any questions or queries about their services.
Commitment to Catalonia
DIGI continues to strengthen its commitment to Catalonia, where it is present with its own fibre network, meaning that more than 48% of households already have the ability to sign up for SMART fibre.
It is also present in the region with its PRO-DIGI fibre service, offering speeds of up to 10 Gbps, the fastest residential fibre in the country.
The company, which already has more than 1,000 employees in Catalonia as of the end of the first half of the year, carries out all its core business activities in-house, offering a stable working environment and supporting career development for all its employees.
