DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, is organizing its 5th Open Day – Selection Event (Mentor Program) on May 6 in Madrid to fill 70 vacancies in the Sales and Installation areas in the Community of Madrid.

The company is organizing this new event with the aim of once again facilitating access to these vacancies for as many interested people as possible. At this event, DIGI's recruitment consultants will interact directly with candidates and conduct on-site personal interviews.

In this way, with this Recruitment Day (the fifth nationwide since 2025), DIGI seeks to give all attendees, regardless of their experience in sales or fiber optic installation, the opportunity not only to hand in their resumes but also to have that first in-person interview, which many job seekers find difficult to obtain. Candidates who arrive without having registered can also hand in their CV and be interviewed, although they will have to wait their turn, which will be assigned strictly in order of arrival.

Immediate Hiring and Training Plan

Anyone interested in developing their professional career in Sales or Installations at DIGI can apply for the available positions. The company's recruitment specialists will interview candidates attending the event, whether they have prior experience in the roles on offer, experience in other fields and wish to change career paths, or no prior work experience and are seeking their first job as a salesperson or installer.

Once the selection process is completed, DIGI, in its commitment to self-employment, will offer immediate employment to the selected candidates. This will also include an initial theoretical and practical training plan to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of each vacancy through its Mentor Program. “After two years of implementing the Mentor Program, we are very pleased with its results. Through this project, each new employee receives personalized support during their training period, enabling them to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for each position. Parallel activities and prize draws for attendees

In addition to the in-person interviews, DIGI's 5th Open Day – Selection Day (Mentor Program) will feature talks given by various professionals from the company's Human Resources, Sales, and Facilities departments.

At these events, candidates will not only learn about the characteristics of the available job openings, but also about the day-to-day responsibilities of the different positions, hear testimonials from current employees of the telecommunications operator who have focused their careers on the areas of the vacancies, and learn about the Mentor Program, implemented by the company since 2024, from which selected candidates will benefit.

Finally, all candidates attending the event will be entered into a raffle for a pair of tickets to the La Liga matchday 35 game between Rayo Vallecano, the team for which DIGI is the Main Sponsor, and Girona FC, to be held on Monday, May 11th at the Vallecas Stadium. Additionally, all attendees will also be entered into a raffle for an official Rayo Vallecano third-kit jersey from this season.
