DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, is organizing its 6th Open Day – Selection Event (Mentor Program) on June 30 in Barcelona to fill more than 70 vacancies in the Sales and Installation areas in the province of Barcelona.
The company is organizing this new event (the second in Barcelona) with the aim of once again facilitating access to these vacancies for as many interested people as possible. At this event, DIGI's recruitment consultants will interact with candidates and conduct on-site personal interviews.
In this way, DIGI hopes that this Recruitment Day (the sixth nationwide since 2025) will give everyone who attends, regardless of their experience in sales or fiber optic installation, the opportunity not only to submit their resume but also to have that first face-to-face interview, which many job seekers find difficult to obtain. DIGI's 6th Open Day – Selection Day (Mentor Program) will take place in Barcelona on Tuesday, June 30th at:
Hotel Le Méridien Barcelona
La Rambla 111, Carrer del Pintor Fortuny, 4-6, 08001 Barcelona
Metro: Catalunya (L1 | L3) | Liceu (L3)
Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
All candidates interested in participating in this meeting with DIGI's Human Resources professionals can book their personal interview until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29th, by registering for the event at this link if applying for sales positions or at this other link for installer positions. Candidates who arrive without prior registration may also submit their CV and be interviewed, although they will have to wait their turn, which will be assigned strictly in order of arrival.
Immediate hiring and training plan
Anyone interested in developing their professional career in the Sales or Installation areas at DIGI can apply for the available positions. The company's recruitment specialists will interview candidates attending the event, regardless of whether they have prior experience in the offered positions, have experience in other fields and wish to redirect their career, or have no prior work experience and are seeking their first job as a salesperson or installer.
Once the selection process is complete, DIGI, in its commitment to self-employment, will offer selected candidates immediate employment, which will also include an initial theoretical and practical training plan to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of each vacancy through its Mentor Program. “In the second year of the Mentor Plan, we are very pleased with its results. Through this project, each new employee receives personalized support during their training period, enabling them to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for each position. Colleagues themselves guide and provide the new hires with the tools they need to perform their duties,” highlights Virginia Guerrero, HR Director of DIGI Spain.
Parallel activities
In addition to the personal interviews, DIGI's 6th Open Day – Selection Day (Mentor Plan) will feature talks given by various professionals from the company's Human Resources, Sales, and Facilities departments.
In these talks, candidates will not only learn about the characteristics of the available job openings, but also about the day-to-day responsibilities of the different positions, as well as how the Mentor Plan, implemented in the company since 2014, works, and from which the selected candidates will benefit.
