DIGI organises a recruitment day to fill 50 vacancies in its sales department in Barcelona

DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, has 50 vacancies in its sales department in Barcelona, and to make it easier for as many interested candidates as possible to apply, the company has organised the “Open Day – Recruitment Event (Mentor Plan) by DIGI”, where its Human Resources team will be able to interact directly with candidates and conduct interviews on site.

The aim of this event is to give all attendees, whether they have experience in the field of sales or not, the opportunity not only to submit their CVs to the recruitment team, but also to access a first in-person interview, which many job seekers often find difficult to secure.

The Open Day – Recruitment Event (Mentor Plan) by DIGI will take place at:

Carrer del Bruc, 9. 08010, Barcelona
Metro stations: Urquinaona and Tetuán.
Time: 9.30 am to 2:30 pm

All candidates interested in attending this event with DIGI’s Human Resources professionals can book their personal interview until 4 pm on Tuesday, 10 June by registering for the event via this link.

Candidates who attend without having registered will also be able to submit their CV and be interviewed, although they will need to wait their turn, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Immediate hiring and training plan

Anyone interested in developing their career in the field of sales can apply for the positions currently available. DIGI’s recruitment team will therefore conduct on-site interviews with candidates attending the event, whether they have prior experience in the commercial field or not, have experience in other sectors and wish to change career, or have no previous work experience and are looking for employment.

Once the selection process has been completed, DIGI, in line with its commitment to in-house employment, will offer successful candidates immediate integration into its workforce, along with an initial theoretical and practical training plan to equip them with the knowledge and skills required to carry out the duties of each role through its Mentor Plan.

“As part of the Mentor Plan, each new employee receives personalised support during their training period, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge required for each position. Their colleagues will guide and provide new hires with the tools they need to carry out their roles,” explains Virginia Guerrero, HR Director at DIGI Spain.

Parallel activities

In addition to personal interviews, the Open Day – Recruitment Event (Mentor Plan) by DIGI will also include talks led by professionals from the company’s Human Resources and Sales departments.

During these sessions, candidates will not only learn about the characteristics of the roles on offer, but also gain insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of each position, hear testimonials from employees who have developed their careers in the sales department, and learn more about the Mentor Plan, which was implemented in the company in 2024 and from which selected candidates will benefit.
