DIGI Spain (DIGI), the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, today opened its fifth store in the province of Valencia –and seventh in the Valencian Community– bringing the operator's total to 100 stores across the country.
To celebrate reaching 100 stores in Spain, the operator organized a special opening event as a thank you to its customers. This DIGI Store, located at number 55 Avinguda Al Vedat, in the municipality of Torrent, joins the other four stores the company has in the province of Valencia: Carrer de Colón, 43 (the operator's first store in Spain); Carrer del Doctor Manuel Candela, 16; and Avinguda Gaspar Aguilar, 78, all in the city of Valencia; as well as Carrer Benito Pérez Galdós, 34, in Alzira.
In the words of Dragos Chivu, Chief Commercial Officer of DIGI Spain: “The opening of our 100th store confirms our commitment to being ever closer to our customers, offering them direct, personalized, and high-quality service. It also strengthens our presence in the Valencian Community, where we now have a total of seven stores.” To celebrate DIGI reaching 100 stores in Spain, the operator has organized a special opening event as a thank you to its customers. The event will take place today, and everyone who visits the store will receive a guaranteed gift.
Commitment to the Valencian Community
With this opening, DIGI continues to strengthen its commitment to the Valencian Community, where the company already has its own fiber optic network and is now offering PRO-DIGI, the fastest residential fiber optic service, with speeds up to 10 Gbps.
The operator, which is already the second largest in Spain in terms of employees, with more than 11,700 nationwide and more than 1,100 in the Valencian Community (at least 650 of them in Valencia), carries out all its business activities directly with its own employees, offers a stable career path, and promotes career development opportunities for all its staff. DIGI also chose Valencia to open its first branch in 2020, and last year, it reaffirmed its commitment to the city by establishing a new customer service center there, adding to its existing centers in Madrid and Seville. This expansion has created more than 150 jobs in the province.
The operator also has over 2.1 million homes in the Valencian Community (representing 64.6% of total household penetration) and expects to expand its network throughout the region so that more and more customers can enjoy its services.
Signing up for DIGI services in its stores
In this store, as in the operator's other physical locations, customers can sign up for fiber optic and mobile service starting at €15 per month and, for an additional €7, DIGI TV, with more than 120 channels of movies, series, sports, documentaries, and entertainment, as well as national and international music and news. In addition, it offers the 10 most important matches of each matchday of the Primera Federación at no extra cost, and the rest of the matches on delay.
Customers can also add the Sports Pack to DIGI TV for €3 per month, which allows them to watch all LALIGA HYPERMOTION matches and also includes themed hunting and fishing channels.
