DIGI opens a new customer service centre in Seville, creating more than 130 direct jobs

DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, has opened a new customer service centre in Seville, which will create more than 130 jobs in the city.

Located in the Kansas City business centre and covering 400 square metres, this new customer service facility has been designed to improve operational efficiency and deliver the best possible customer experience for DIGI users.

The new centre, which adds to the company’s existing customer service centre in Madrid, includes workstations distributed throughout the space as well as several training rooms, allowing employees to continue developing and acquiring new professional skills.

As DIGI integrates the entire value chain, it carries out all core business activities in-house, offering employees stable, permanent roles, competitive salaries and additional benefits.

In the words of Marius Varzaru, CEO of DIGI Spain: “We are pleased to announce the opening of this new facility, which will allow us to continue enhancing the customer experience while also creating jobs and generating value for the Andalusian community.”

Commitment to the region

With this newly opened centre, DIGI continues to strengthen its commitment to Andalusia, a region where the company is present with its own fibre network, reaching more than 2.1 million households, and where it also offers PRO-DIGI, the fastest residential fibre service, with speeds of up to 10 Gbps.

The company, which stands out for carrying out all its core business activities in-house, also reaffirms its commitment to the region through the creation of high-quality employment. DIGI already has more than 420 employees in Seville and more than 1,440 across Andalusia, all directly employed by the operator.

In-house employment and investment

At a national level, DIGI has more than 8,750 employees directly on its payroll, according to figures published by the company at the end of 2024, and continues to make strong investments in rolling out the fastest fibre network in Spain (as verified by Ookla®), which now reaches 12 million households.
