DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, and Deportivo Alavés have signed an agreement under which the company will continue as Official Sponsor of the club for the upcoming season.

With this agreement, DIGI renews its commitment to Deportivo Alavés, a club it has sponsored since 2022, with support now extended until 2026, marking four years of partnership between the Club and the operator.

Alfonso Fernández de Trocóniz, President of Deportivo Alavés, thanked DIGI for its renewed support and expressed his satisfaction at having “the commitment of a company like DIGI for four consecutive years. Throughout these seasons, the operator has always been a close partner to the Club, its fans and the city, and we are confident this will continue.”

Commitment to the region

DIGI provides landline and mobile telephony services, as well as broadband internet access and television services. It is present in Álava with its SMART Fibre network, reaching more than 87,400 households, and with its PRO-DIGI fibre service, offering speeds of up to 10 Gbps, the fastest residential service in the country.

The company also has two company-owned stores in the city and employs more than 50 people directly across the province.
