DIGI Spain (DIGI), the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, and Real Racing Club have signed an agreement making the operator the Club's Official Sponsor until the 2027/28 season.

The signing of this agreement took place this Wednesday at the Real Racing Club Museum, in a meeting attended by the Head of Marketing & Communications of DIGI Spain, Daniel Campillo, and the President of Real Racing Club, Manuel Higuera Sancho.

Through this new sponsorship, which will bring DIGI closer to its Cantabrian customers and Racing fans, the first team, the reserve team, and the entire youth academy will display the operator's logo on the side of the front of their jerseys.

According to Daniel Campillo, Head of Marketing & Communications at DIGI Spain: “We are proud to become an Official Sponsor of such an iconic club in Spain. This support demonstrates our commitment to the region and to our Cantabrian customers, whom we are reaching through this sponsorship.”

For his part, the President of Real Racing Club, Manuel Higuera Sancho, expressed his gratitude to DIGI for “trusting us as the Club's Official Sponsor until 2028. It is an honor to receive the support of such a prominent company that accompanies its growth by supporting Spanish football.”

DIGI in Cantabria

DIGI is present in Cantabria with its SMART Fibre network, which already reaches more than 165,000 homes in the province. This network offers services such as PRO-DIGI fibre, with speeds up to 10 Gbps, the fastest in the country for residential customers.

The operator has more than 100 employees directly employed by the company in Cantabria and five DIGI Stores, four of them located in Santander and one in Torrelavega.
