DIGI Spain (DIGI), the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, is organizing its 7th Open Day – Recruitment Event (Mentor Program) on September 3 in Málaga to fill more than 35 positions in the Sales and Installation departments in the province of Málaga.
The company is organizing this event with the goal of enabling as many interested individuals as possible to apply for these positions, during a session where DIGI’s recruitment consultants will interact with candidates and conduct in-person interviews on-site.
Through this Recruitment Day (the seventh nationwide since 2025), DIGI aims to ensure that all those who attend – whether or not they have experience in sales or in the installation of fibre-optic cables – have the opportunity not only to submit their CV, but also to secure that first face-to-face interview, which many jobseekers find difficult to access.
DIGI’s 7th Open Day – Recruitment Event (Mentor Scheme) will take place in Málaga on Thursday 3 September at:
Hotel NH Málaga
C/ San Jacinto nº2, 29007 Málaga
Autobús: 19, 3, A, 36. Metro: L1, L2.
Horario: de 9:30 a 16:30 h
All candidates interested in taking part in this event with DIGI’s Human Resources professionals can book their personal interview until 4.00 pm on Wednesday 2nd by registering for the event via this link if applying for positions in the sales department, or via this other link for installer positions.
Candidates who turn up without having registered will also be able to submit their CV and be interviewed, although they will have to wait their turn, which will be determined strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
Immediate employment and training programme
Anyone interested in developing their professional career in the sales or installation departments at DIGI is eligible for the positions on offer. The company’s recruitment team will therefore interview candidates attending the event, regardless of whether they have previous experience in the roles on offer, have experience in other sectors and wish to change career direction, or have no previous work experience and are seeking their first job as a sales representative or installer.
Once the selection process is complete, DIGI, as part of its commitment to direct employment, will offer the selected candidates an immediate contract to join its workforce. This will also include an initial theoretical and practical training programme to equip them with the knowledge and skills required to carry out the duties associated with each vacancy to be filled, through its so-called Mentor Programme.
“In the second year of the Mentor Scheme’s implementation, we are very pleased with the results. Through this project, every new employee receives personalised support during their induction period, enabling them to acquire the skills and knowledge required for their role. It is their colleagues themselves who guide new recruits and provide them with the tools they need to carry out their duties,” says Virginia Guerrero, HR Director at DIGI Spain.
Side events
In addition to one-to-one interviews, DIGI’s 7th Open Day – Recruitment Event (Mentor Scheme) will feature talks delivered by various professionals from the company’s Human Resources, Sales and Facilities departments.
During these talks, candidates will not only be able to find out about the details of the job vacancies on offer, but also about the day-to-day work involved in the different roles, as well as how the Mentor Programme – which has been in place at the company since 2024 – works, and from which the selected candidates will benefit.
