DIGI has best quarter on record with more than 492,000 line transfers between January and March, up 22% on 2025

DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, recorded more than 492,000 line transfers in the first quarter, representing an increase of more than 22% compared to the same period last year and 1% compared to the previous quarter (October–December 2025), which had until now been the company’s best quarter for number portings.

In March, DIGI recorded more than 174,000 ports, representing a 24% increase compared to the same month in 2025, of which more than 147,000 were mobile number portabilities, representing growth of more than 22%. DIGI also recorded its best monthly figure for landline switches in March, with more than 27,000.

In terms of net porting for March, the company recorded more than 94,800 line transfers, representing the third-best monthly net figure in its history. Of these, more than 22,700 were landlines, marking its highest-ever figure in this category.

With these figures, the operator has now recorded more than 100,000 monthly line switches for nineteen consecutive months (since September 2024).

DIGI is trusted by more than 10.8 million customers in Spain, according to the latest results report published by the company at the end of 2025. Specifically, more than 7.26 million customers used its mobile service; more than 2.58 million subscribed to its fibre service, making it the third-largest operator by number of fibre customers in the residential segment; more than 815,000 had fixed-line services; and more than 172,000 subscribed to its TV service.

Service quality and in-house employment

DIGI, the fourth-largest fixed and mobile telecommunications operator in Spain, remains committed to offering high-quality services at competitive prices listening to customer feedback to implement improvements based on their actual needs.

In this regard, DIGI’s fibre network, deployed using state-of-the-art technology, was once again recognised in 2025, for the fifth consecutive year, as the ‘Fastest Fibre Network in Spain’ at the prestigious Ookla® Speedtest Awards™.

In total, the company invested €468 million in 2025, 63% more than the previous year, to carry out its plan to roll out next-generation ultrafast fibre optic networks, as well as to deploy its own mobile network, which began operating in the second half of 2025. DIGI now has a SMART fibre network that now reaches more than 13.7 million households and has over 700 nodes in service.

The operator, now the second-largest employer in the sector, carries out all its business activities in-house, offering job stability and supporting career development for all its employees. DIGI currently has more than 11,000 employees in Spain.
