DIGI exceeds 167,600 line transfers in February, recording its second-best monthly result on record

DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, recorded more than 167,600 line transfers in February, of which over 141,700 were mobile lines, representing growth of more than 26% in both cases compared to the same month in 2025. Both figures represent the company’s second-best monthly results on record.

With these results, the operator has now recorded more than 100,000 monthly line switches for eighteen consecutive months (since September 2024).

In terms of net porting, the operator reached more than 92,700 and has exceeded the 90,000 mark in a single month for the seventh time in its history.

DIGI also recorded its second-best monthly result for fixed-line portabilites in February, with more than 25,800, of which over 21,700 were net additions, also its second-best figure in this category.

In the first two months of 2026, the operator recorded more than 317,600 ports, its best result on record for the January–February period, with growth of over 21% compared to the same period in 2025.

DIGI is trusted by more than 10.8 million customers in Spain, according to the latest results report published by the company at the end of 2025. Specifically, more than 7.26 million customers used its mobile service; more than 2.58 million subscribed to its fibre service, making it the third-largest operator by number of fibre customers in the residential segment; more than 815,000 had fixed-line services; and more than 172,000 subscribed to its TV service.

Service quality and in-house employment

DIGI, the fourth-largest fixed and mobile telecommunications operator in Spain, remains committed to offering high-quality services at competitive prices listening to customer feedback to implement improvements based on their actual needs.

In this regard, DIGI’s fibre network, deployed using state-of-the-art technology, was once again recognised in 2025, for the fifth consecutive year, as the ‘Fastest Fibre Network in Spain’ at the prestigious Ookla® Speedtest Awards™.

In total, the company invested €468 million in 2025, 63% more than the previous year, to carry out its plan to roll out next-generation ultrafast fibre optic networks, as well as to deploy its own mobile network, which began operating in July 2025. The SMART fibre network now reaches more than 13.7 million households and has over 700 nodes in service.

The operator, now the second-largest employer in the sector, carries out all its business activities in-house, offering job stability and supporting career development for all its employees. DIGI currently has more than 11,000 employees in Spain.
