DIGI Spain (DIGI), the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, and Albacete Balompié have signed an agreement making DIGI the Club's Official Sponsor until the end of the 2026/27 season.

The signing of this new sponsorship took place this Thursday at the Carlos Belmonte Stadium, during a meeting attended by the Head of Marketing & Communications of DIGI Spain, Daniel Campillo, the Club's Vice President and CEO, Víctor Varela, and the General Manager, Jorge Bueno.

This agreement will allow DIGI to be closer to all its customers in Albacete and to the Albacete Balompié fans. The operator's logo will appear on the side of the front of the first team's jersey, as well as on the back of the reserve team's jersey, recently promoted to the Segunda RFEF (Spanish Forth Division), and on all the boys' youth teams.

Through this alliance, with which we hope to grow together and build a lasting relationship, we are strengthening our presence in Albacete to be even closer to our customers in the province, and it is yet another example of our commitment to the region.”

For his part, the Vice President and CEO of Albacete Balompié, Víctor Varela, expressed his gratitude to the operator and highlighted his delight in welcoming DIGI as an Official Sponsor of the Club. He added, “It’s a company closely linked to football, and their commitment to us is great news for the club and an agreement that will allow us to continue growing.”

DIGI is present in Albacete with its SMART Fiber service, which already reaches more than 66% of homes in the province; and with its PRO-DIGI fiber service, offering speeds of up to 10 Gbps, the fastest residential fiber optic service in the country.

The operator has more than 100 employees directly employed by the company in the province of Albacete as of the end of the first quarter of 2026, in addition to a DIGI Store and two stands in the city of Albacete.

Albacete Balompié will play in the Second Division during the 2026/27 season and all of its matches can be followed through DIGI TV, the operator's television service, thanks to its Sports Pack, with which its customers can enjoy all the LALIGA HYPERMOTION matches.
