DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, broke its all-time record for net additons in 2025, achieving a net total of more than 994,000 line switches, 7.7% higher than the previous year.
The operator also surpassed its record for total line transfers, exceeding 1,673,000, representing a 23.8% increase compared to 2024.
In December, DIGI recorded more than 144,000 ports, with growth of 31% compared to the same month the previous year. The December figure also marks sixteen consecutive months with more than 100,000 monthly number portings. Of these line switches, more than 122,000 were mobile number portabilities.
With these results, the operator also achieved a record fourth quarter, approaching half a million line transfers at 488,600, 34.9% higher than between October and December 2024, setting new quarterly records for both mobile (more than 415,800) and fixed-line portabilities (more than 72,800).
DIGI is trusted by more than 10.2 million customers in Spain, according to the latest results report published by the company at the end of the first quarter of 2025. Specifically, more than 6.93 million customers use its mobile service, representing an increase of more than 1.38 million customers over the past twelve months. More than 2.43 million also subscribe to its fibre service, an increase of 622,000 customers over the same period; more than 768,000 have fixed-line services, and more than 133,000 use its TV service, which offers over 120 channels and is available throughout Spain.
Close to its customers
DIGI, the fourth-largest fixed and mobile telecommunications operator in Spain, remains committed to offering high-quality services at competitive prices listening to customer feedback to implement improvements based on their actual needs.
Against this background, the operator opened two new customer service centres in Seville and Valencia in 2025, adding to its existing centre in Madrid, and has surpassed 70 company-owned shops across Spain, all staffed by employees directly hired by the company, helping to foster close contact and direct interaction, as valued by its customers.
Investment and commitment to employment
The company invested €395 million in the first nine months of 2025 to carry out its plan to roll out next-generation ultrafast fibre optic networks, as well as to deploy its own mobile network, which was launched on 1 July. The operator’s SMART fibre network now reaches more than 13 million households.
DIGI, now the second-largest employer in the sector, carries out all its business activities in-house, offering job stability and supporting career development for all its employees. The company currently has more than 10,000 employees in Spain.
