DIGI announces it will again not increase its prices in 2026

DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, has announced that it will not increase the price of its plans in 2026.

This was confirmed on Wednesday by DIGI Spain CEO Marius Varzaru during a Christmas media event, where he reiterated the operator’s commitment to its customers.

DIGI therefore remains true to its aim of offering the best possible value and marks another year without raising its prices.

In fact, in more than 17 years in Spain, the operator has not only avoided increasing prices but has consistently improved them.

In 2025, it reduced the price of its IlimiTODO plan, which includes unlimited data and calls, as well as improving plans with rollover data by increasing allowances to offer better prices.

It also increased the speeds of its SMART fibre plans from 300 Mb to 500 Mb and from 600 Mb to 750 Mb at no extra cost.

High-quality service and advanced technology at competitive prices

At the end of the third quarter of the year, DIGI had the trust of more than 10.2 million customers in Spain, reaching more than 13 million households with its SMART fibre network.

The operator, now the second-largest by number of employees, carries out all its core business activities in-house and already has more than 10,000 employees in Spain.

DIGI’s goal for 2026 remains the same: to continue moving forward in making connectivity accessible to everyone, offering customers high-quality service, advanced technology and competitive pricing.
