Close to its customers
DIGI, the fourth-largest landline and mobile telecommunications operator in Spain, continues to strengthen its commitment to customers by offering high-quality services at competitive prices, taking on board their feedback to implement improvements based on their actual needs.
As part of this, the operator has opened two new customer service centres this year in Seville and Valencia, creating nearly 300 jobs, adding to the existing centre in Madrid.
It has also surpassed 65 company-owned stores across Spain, all staffed by employees directly hired by the company, helping to foster closer contact and direct interaction with customers.
Investment and commitment to employment
The company invested €395 million in the first nine months of the year to carry out its plan to roll out next-generation ultrafast fibre optic networks, as well as to deploy its own mobile network, which was launched on 1 July. The operator’s SMART fibre network now reaches more than 13 million households.
DIGI, now the second-largest employer in the sector, carries out all its business activities in-house, offering job stability and supporting career development for all its employees. The company currently has more than 10,000 employees in Spain.
