DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, generated more than €929 million in revenue in 2025, representing a 19% increase compared to the previous year.

The operator also reported a positive net profit in Spain and reached EBITDA adjusted for operating leases of €175 million, up 15% compared to 2024.

The operator invested a total of €468 million during the year, 63% more than in 2024, mainly allocated to its plan to roll out next-generation ultrafast fibre optic networks, as well as to acquire mobile spectrum and deploy its own mobile network, which was launched on 1 July.

In the words of Marius Varzaru, CEO of DIGI Spain: “These results confirm the strength of our business model and our level of investment, and explain why DIGI is now a leading operator in Spain. The trust our customers place in DIGI strengthens our value proposition and drives us to continue working to provide them with high-quality services, based on advanced technology and at competitive prices.”

DIGI’s financial results in Spain have just been published in the quarterly report issued by DIGI Communications NV, considered one of the fastest-growing operators in Europe, with operations in Romania, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Belgium, offering internet, mobile and fixed telephony, and cable and satellite TV services.

Commercial performance

The number of net porting transactions achieved by DIGI in 2025 stands out, as the company broke its historical record during the year, reaching a net balance of more than 994,000 line switches, 7.7% higher than the previous year.

In this year, the operator also exceeded its all-time record for total porting transactions, surpassing 1,673,000, which represents a 23.8% increase compared to 2024.

As a result, DIGI added more than 2.39 million customers throughout 2025, bringing its total customer base across all services to over 10.8 million, a 28.4% increase compared to the previous year.

Specifically, more than 7.26 million customers used its mobile service, representing an increase of more than 1.4 million customers in 2025 compared to the previous year.

Similarly, more than 2.58 million customers subscribed to its fibre service, an increase of 632,000 during the period, making it the third-largest operator by number of fibre customers in the residential segment in Spain; more than 815,000 customers used its fixed-line service, an increase of 189,000 compared to the end of 2024; and more than 172,000 subscribed to its TV service.

In 2025, DIGI improved its IlimiTODO plan, with unlimited calls and unlimited data, allowing customers to benefit from a lower price for each additional line, and also introduced improvements to its mobile plan features.

It also increased the speed of its SMART fibre plans, raising the 300 Mbps symmetrical plan to 500 Mbps at no extra cost, and the 600 Mbps symmetrical plan to 750 Mbps, also without any price increase.

By the end of the year, DIGI had surpassed 75 company-owned shops across Spain, all staffed by employees directly hired by the company, helping to foster close contact and direct interaction, as valued by its customers.

Commitment to employment

DIGI, the second-largest operator by number of employees, remains committed not only to investing in network rollout, but also to job creation. The operator, which manages the entire value chain, carries out all core business activities in-house, offering stable employment and supporting career development for all its employees.

By the end of the year, DIGI had more than 11,000 professionals directly employed, including infrastructure staff responsible for deploying its own fibre network, as well as its own call centres.
