DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, generated more than €681 million in revenue in the first nine months of 2025, representing a 19% increase compared to the same period in the previous year.
It also reported gross profit (EBITDA) of €144 million, an increase of 8% compared to the same period in 2024.
In addition, the operator invested €395 million in the first nine months of the year, 53% more than in the same period of 2024, to support the rollout of next-generation ultra-fast fibre networks and the deployment of its own mobile network, which began operations on 1 July.
DIGI’s financial results in Spain have just been published in the quarterly report issued by DIGI Communications NV, considered one of the fastest-growing operators in Europe, with operations in Romania, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Belgium, offering fixed and mobile telephony, internet, cable and satellite TV services, as well as electricity services.
Commercial performance
At the end of September, once again, the number of porting transactions achieved by DIGI stands out, with more than 1,184,000 million customers choosing to switch their mobile and landlines to DIGI in the first nine months of the year.
As a result, DIGI added more than 2.3 million customers over the past twelve months, bringing the company to more than 10.2 million customers by business unit, a 29% increase compared to the previous year.
Specifically, by the end of September more than 6.93 million customers used the company’s mobile services, an increase of more than 1.38 million over the past twelve months. More than 2.43 million used DIGI's fibre service, representing growth of 622,000 customers over the same period; more than 768,000 used its landline service, an increase of 186,000 customers; and more than 133,000 used its television service launched in December 2024.
During the first nine months of 2025, DIGI expanded its DIGI TV channel offering to more than 120 channels. It also improved its IlimiTODO plan, with unlimited calls and data, allowing customers to benefit from a lower price per line as more lines are added, and introduced further improvements to its mobile plans.
It also increased the speed of its SMART fibre plans, raising the 300 Mbps symmetrical plan to 500 Mbps at no extra cost, and the 600 Mbps symmetrical plan to 750 Mbps, also without any price increase.
By the end of September, DIGI had surpassed 65 company-owned shops across Spain, all staffed by employees directly hired by the company, helping to foster close contact and direct interaction, as valued by its customers.
Commitment to employment
DIGI, the second-largest operator by number of employees, remains committed not only to investing in network rollout, but also to job creation. The operator, which manages the entire value chain, carries out all core business activities in-house, offering stable employment and supporting career development for all its employees.
By the end of the first half of the year, DIGI had more than 10,000 professionals directly employed, including infrastructure staff responsible for deploying its own fibre network, as well as its own call centres.
During these nine months, the operator opened two new customer service centres in Seville and Valencia, with the aim of providing the best possible customer experience, creating nearly 300 new direct jobs.
